Admissions Information
St Mary's College is a Voluntary Catholic Academy in the Diocese of Middlesbrough. It is a co-educational, secondary comprehensive school, for students aged 11 - 18.
The College is part of St Cuthbert's Roman Catholic Academy Trust and the Trust Board is the Admissions Authority and is responsible for determining the admissions arrangements and administering independent appeals.

Sporting Aptitude Tests - Admissions September 2024
Category 6 of our Admission Arrangements: Sporting Aptitude
· If you would like to register an interest for your child to take St Mary’s College Sporting Aptitude test, please complete this Microsoft Form ( click here ) no later than the deadline on Friday 29th September 2023 at midday.
· Your child will be invited into St Mary’s College to take the test during the week commencing 16th October and you will be given the results by the end of the week commencing 23rd October.
· This will allow time for you to make an informed choice of school on your official preference application from your Local Authority, you will receive information from them regarding this in September. The official application must be completed as instructed by your Local Authority before the 31st October deadline.
· Please note meeting the criteria does not equate to a guarantee of a place.

Objections about a school’s admissions arrangements can be made to the schools’ adjudicator and should be made before 15 May in the year they are set. If you feel that a school's admission arrangements are unlawful or do not comply with the school admissions code
