SMC student is finalist in the Young Economist of the Year 2022 competition

Hot off the heels of a successful internship at the Bank of England this summer, we have just learned that Year 13 student Lora Stamatova made the shortlist of finalists at this year's Royal Economics Society , Young Economist of the year essay writing competition.
Lora submitted her essay on the topic of cryptocurrencies entitled 'What challenges do cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin pose for the Bank of England, whose role is to regulate the UK’s financial sector and keep the macroeconomy stable?’
