SM6 Results Day 2026
Today, as we celebrate A Level & Level 3 results day, we are thrilled to recognise the remarkable achievements of our SM6 sixth form students. The Class of 2026 has set a standard defined not just by academic success, but by ambition, character and an unwavering drive to succeed. We could not be prouder of everything our young people have accomplished.
At SM6, academic success grows out of a culture where every student is known, valued and empowered. Our unique community gives our students the foundation they need to think boldly, embrace new challenges and thrive in an ever-changing world.
Maria Stead, Executive Headteacher said, “I am so proud of our students and everything they have achieved. It is, as always, a reflection of their dedication and drive, alongside unwavering support from the 6th form staff body. I wish them all well as they take their exciting future steps.”
It was a morning of anticipation, but as the results were revealed, four individual student journeys culminated in celebration:
- For Seb Sutkowy, years of problem-solving paid off in the ultimate way. Having mastered the numbers with exceptional A* grades in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics a B in Computer Science, Seb is now heading to Kings College, Cambridge to study Engineering.
- Nabiha Habib’s dedication to the Sciences has opened the doors to the Hull York Medical School, securing an impressive A in Biology alongside B grades in Chemistry and Maths, her first step toward a career in Medicine.
- Humanities and social sciences student Katie Drake-Davis achieved top-tier marks: an A* in Criminology paired with matching A grades in Law and Sociology. Katie is heading off to Newcastle University.
- Mary Leia earned a superb Distinction in BTEC Sport through hard work and practical excellence, This September, she will begin a career path into the healthcare field, starting an apprenticeship in Nursing.
